green bluff backyard wedding |  spokane, wa

As I look back and reflect upon my first season as a wedding photographer I had some really amazing couples trust me to photograph their most memorable day of their life.  I am so honored that they would trust me with that!  And Joel and Lauren did just that.  If you recall I photographed their engagement session earlier this summer at the same place they held their wedding.

The weather could not have been more beautiful! The heat broke and the fire smoke cleared out just the week before.  Lauren and Joel decided to not have a first look and save that special moment when they locked eyes and aisle apart.  So as Lauren took the most exciting walk of her life down the aisle to her Joel with the biggest smile on her face and tears streaming down his they worshiped the Lord with fervor and said I DO in front of all the people that mattered the most to them!

I usually cry at weddings at least once but this one had my holding back sobs at least four times! The details were beautiful and all the special moments and people to Lauren and Joel were highlighted so elegantly and with great respect.

Cheers to Lauren and Joel!  I pray many blessings over your marriage and that you embrace every part of it... the best times and the not so best times! They are all worth it.
