Princeton family photographer | Princeton University Family Session

In the Trenton area there is a postpartum mom’s group {Mama Love} my midwife referred me to when she learned Brenton was deploying. Elijah was around 6 months at that time and we were still in the throws of figuring everything out and barely sleeping at night. Some weeks it was my only outing during the deployment. Attending those meetings and playgroups was life saving so if you know anyone who is in the postpartum period in the Trenton area send them that way.

I met some amazing and strong moms in that group who voiced their struggles and triumphs fearlessly. And still during COVID and not being able to gather I got one of those amazing moms with her family in front of my camera.

Little Olivia is about to turn one in a few short days and to celebrate their one year of parenthood and Olivia joining their family booked a beautiful Princeton University family photography session. Always wanting to photograph on campus I was so excited when they preferred a more urban setting. Kevin actually graduated from Princeton Theological Seminary a few years ago so it was the perfect place for them! The session of course, fell on one of the hottest days of the summer and these cuties didn’t show it all!

What a treat it was to capture such a momentous celebration in their family. And of course as always I snuck mom and dad away for a few sweet shots in front of the chapel
